Orange Idea

Today I was clearing off my table at Mom’s store, and I found these orange clasps.  I thought about what I should do with them, and I think that this Patons Grace yarn would be good, but I don’t know what to make!  Any ideas?

I managed to take that photo by scavenging in my stuff for batteries, and long behold–I found two that weren’t dead!  I also took a couple pictures of that shawl…

I am attempting to make a shawl now–quite a large step in the direction of the things that frustrate me!  I hope I have the focus enough to finish it.

It is made using a 3.25 mm crochet hook and some weight of crochet thread.  I don’t know, but Mom sells it in packages of three skein thingies.  What number was it?  I think it had a five in there somewhere…

Oh, well.  I guess it doesn’t matter.  I’m not writing down the pattern anyway.  If I was writing it down, it would mostly say “repeat this until it is as big as you want” after the start up part, which would be “ch 3, sc in 3rd ch from hk, DON’T turn, ch 1, sc in same st, ch 1, sc in same st.  Now turn, and ch 2, sc in ch 1 space, ch 1, sc in same st, continue ch-ing 1 and sc-ing in ch 1 spaces until you reach the end, turn, and so on”.  Then it would say not to end, just go down the side and work an edging.  That is what the pattern would be, but clearer, in order, and with pictures.  Even if I do make a pattern, it wouldn’t have any pictures yet, because I still don’t have any batteries.

I got on the computer here, and I found that Mom had left tabs open, and one of them was “Personas for Firefox“.  It has all these neat browser themes for Firefox, and Mom made it a Harry Potter theme.  But there are so many, too bad I can’t choose one!  (It’s her computer, if you were wondering why).

That’s all for today!

Hey, fellow crocheters!  I have found this crochet bag pattern, and it’s really good–I’ll even give you the link to it!

And there you have it–a nice, eco-friendly tote bag that will, if lined, hold your crocheting and your book and even your handheld game system.

I would give you a picture of it, but my camera’s last batteries just died.  Oh, well.  I’ll post pictures tomorrow, or later today, even.  Maybe never, if I forget.

See you later!

The weather recently has been downright wonderful!  It has been rainy spring!  Oh, this is perfect for a visit to the park!

But today is very windy, at the same time as spitting, so I doubt I should go….Oh, well!  Tomorrow will be better, I’m sure!

Then again, the weather channel said it would rain all weekend.  Too bad, I’m going tomorrow!

I wonder what I shall crochet next?  I should look on Crochet Pattern Central for something, maybe.  Any suggestions?

Conditions for Commenting

I must now make some conditions for the commenting, because the links are just directing your comments to the spam box!  Here they are:

  • DO NOT add links to your comments anymore, unless they are somehow related to crochet.
  • DO NOT write vulgar or inappropriate content.
  • DO NOT use coarse language.
  • DO NOT slack in your writing skills, my OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) makes me want to correct even minor spelling or grammar errors.
  • DO feel free to ask about someone else’s crochet pattern, I am always willing to help out.

That’s a lot of “do not”s, but I have a very good reason for them!  In only two days I got fifteen of those rude lists of links!  I hope to stop those people, once and for all!  Are you with me?  (That sounded like something from a cheesy battle movie, ugh).

Dull Day

Today is a dull, boring day, but I thought that I should still post something.  Otherwise it would seem like I didn’t get the chance to get on and post something that I made.

But I have nothing to post and yet I am writing.  I hope to fill up quite a long bit about nothing or some little meaningless something!

I bought SSX On Tour for the PSP a couple of days ago.  It’s not as fun as I thought it would be.

I haven’t crocheted much recently, and I haven’t had many ideas for new crocheted patterns.  Sorry!

I hope to write again soon, ‘bye!
